When I first started this blog, I knew I wanted to post *often*. I didn't really define what that meant for me; but I definitely didn't want it to go stale. (I'm really, really good at starting projects... but I'm still working on my follow through).
I thought it would be difficult to find things to post about everyday. Little did I know that my children would do incredible things that astounded me every single day. Sometimes more than once a a day. Of course, these accomplishments range from incredibly heartwarming and incredibly intelligent right down to incredibly annoying and incredibly infuriating. And, more often than I thought possible, they are heartwarming infuriating at the same time.

For example: Ishu has started to climb. He climbs on chairs, counters, appliances, sofas, walls, tables, play pens, grandparents and even Amaani on a particularly bad day. We've tried to institute a "feet on the floor" rule. If I see him climbing, I'll ask him, "where do our feet go?"; and I'll see his lips slowly start to form the word 'floor' before he stops himself and continues climbing on whatever he's not supposed to be climbing on.
Lately it's been the kitchen table. I had bodily dragged him off the table at least 12 times, before giving up and giving the job to Kartik. I was infuriated.
Sigh. But it's so hard to stay mad! Ishu was entertaining Amaani so well that we just had to stop and take this video of Ishu misbehaving and Amaani egging him on. Because they are so close in age, they don't get much chance to interact on their own; but they are so very cute when they do.
